Description

In Shakespeare’s famous words from Love’s Labours Lost, love’s month is Ever May. In the words of Sarah Vaughn, Spring can really hang you up the most. Some things never seem to change.

Experience what drove all of the Virgin Queen’s court (and her famous Father, Henry VIII) mad with love, jealousy and laughter as Shakespeare Opera Theatre presents the perfect repast for those lovers of the spring. Gather round the virginal in your favorite doublet and hose for this Mother’s Day treat, featuring hilarious impersonations and improvisation by members of Baltimore Improv Group! Weather permitting, enjoy the beautiful courtyard at Grace the Plains, transformed into a Tudor era market, complete with wandering minstrels and food approved by Henry himself.

Performance time, including intermission, two hours
